Sugar-free banana bread with speculoos is a healthy snack, ideal for taking on the go. The dough of almond flour, ripe bananas, eggs and speculaas spices is mixed and baked in the oven until golden brown. This nutritious banana bread has a delicious spicy flavor and can easily be frozen in slices for later use.

Ingredients

  • 160 grams of almond flour
  • 3 ripe bananas (large, otherwise 4 small ones)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons speculaaskruiden
  • 1,5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

How to make sugar-free banana bread with speculoos?

    1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees
    2. First mix the dry ingredients: almond flour, gingerbread spices, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, mix the clusty eggs with mashed bananas and vanilla extract. Mix the flour with the eggs and bananas.
    3. Cover a cake tin with baking paper. Pour the mixture into this.
    4. Put in the oven and bake for 50 minutes at 190 degrees.
    5. Cut the banana bread into slices when it has cooled. You can then pack them individually and store them in the freezer.
