These spinach-mozzarella rolls are a delicious healthy appetizer. You can also make them, as we did, as a gourmet recipe. They are also delicious in a pan or briefly on the grill, but you can eat them raw just as well. Cold or hot: always a tasty snack! And within five minutes they are on the table, which is also very easy.

Ingredients

  • 8 mini balls of mozzarella
  • 8 slices of bacon or e.g. prosciutto
  • 8 large fresh spinach leaves

Spinach-mozzarella rolls

    How to make spinach mozzarella rolls?

    1. Place a ball of mozzarella on the end of a slice of bacon and roll up.
    2. Tie a spinach leaf around this and secure with a (wooden) skewer through the stalk. Careful, the stalk tears easily.

This is perhaps the easiest recipe I have ever put on the site. You don't have to bake or cook for it and you are really ready in five minutes. So if you find this spinach mozzarella rolls successful as a snack, you can of course make them much more often. They are so ready ;-).

If you put them on the gourmet grill for a while, make sure that the salty taste of the bacon is reinforced. So before you put them all on the plate at the same time, first taste what you like better.
