Fortunately, the photos of these delicious Sugar Free Raw Chocolate Balls turned out pretty well, but I can tell you that taking photos is a lot easier with a blue sky and nice light. Actually, these chocolate balls can only look good in photos because they are just as delicious as they look. And because they are sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free ánd vegan, you can serve them to everyone.

Ingredients

  • 125 grams of Medjool dates
  • 25 grams hazelnuts or hazelnut flour
  • 25 grams almonds or almond flour
  • 25 grams of raw cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder to roll the balls through

Raw chocolate balls

    1. First grind the nuts in a food processor. If you use flour instead of fresh nuts, then put the flour in the food processor as the first.
    2. Pit the dates, cut them by half and put this in the food processor at the flour. Grind this fine.
    3. Then add the cocoa powder, vanilla extract and coconut grater to the mixture and mix well again. Again, if you are a sweet tooth, then taste and, if necessary, add some extra vanilla extract or honey.
    4. Remove the mixture from the food processor and make balls the size of a hefty marble. You have to be able to put them in your mouth in one go, so don't make them too big.
    5. Then carefully roll the balls through the cocoa powder. And enjoy!

I made up this recipe a few months ago and many people visited me have tasted them. I can tell you that everyone really loved them. They are also ready, especially once you have made the recipe once. With 5-10 minutes they are on the table, so I think these chocolate truffles are the perfect snack for coffee. Due to the fairly pure taste of the raw chocolate, they also fit perfectly with the taste of coffee. Match made in heaven!

Incidentally, they are quite pure chocolate balls. You can choose to add a little more vanilla extract; If you are a sweet tooth, then certainly use 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. In addition, you can also add a dash of honey or agave syrup, which also makes the balls a bit sticker.
