It can't have escaped your notice that I love Overnight Oats. I posted two recipes before; one with blueberries and cinnamon and the other with chocolate. Yum. This Overnight oats with chia seeds also makes you want to get out of bed in the morning. When I lie in bed at night and know that my bowl of Overnight Oats is in the fridge, I can always sleep extra well. Running out of bed is a slight exaggeration, but having your breakfast ready in the morning is really a big plus.

Overnight oats with chia seeds

Overnight oats with chia seeds is a nutritious and easy breakfast prepared the night before. Oat flakes, chia seeds, coconut flakes, cocoa nibs and seeds are mixed with soy milk and mashed banana, and refrigerated overnight. The next morning it is ready to top with fresh fruit or nuts for a delicious start to the day

Ingredients

  • 30gr oat flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 250ml unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 tablespoon coconut rind
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa nibs
  • 1 teaspoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseed
  • 1/2 mashed banana

How do you make overnight oats with chia seeds?

    1. Mix all ingredients, except banana and soy milk in a large bowl.
    2. Add the mashed half banana and soy milk and cover the bowl with aluminum foil and put it in the fridge.
    3. Take your bowl out of the fridge the next morning, stir well with some goodies of your choice (fresh fruit or some nuts).
