Ingredients

  • 4 large chicken legs
  • 1 Chinese cabbage
  • 2 winter carrots
  • 1 mango
  • 2 handfuls of raisins
  • 15 cherry tomatoes
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 8 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. chili sauce
  • 3 cm. fresh ginger
  • sea salt

Chili chicken legs with salad of Chinese cabbage

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 C.
    2. Make the marinade for the chicken: mix the chili sauce with 6 tbsp. olive oil and 2 cm. grated ginger.
    3. Coat the chicken with salt and pepper and then place it in the marinade, you can put all in the baking dish. If you succeed you can already marinate the chicken in the morning, then the flavors pull in nicely. Don't you have time for that? Half an hour also gives a delicious taste!
    4. Put the chicken in the oven for 40 minutes and then prepare the salad.
    5. Cut the Chinese cabbage, spring onion and the carrot, it goes quickly in a food processor with the coarse knife, but you can of course also cut it by hand.
    6. Halve the cherry tomatoes and cut the mango into cubes.
    7. Make the dressing: mix 2 tbsp. Olive oil with the juice of 1 lemon and 1 orange. Here is 1 cm. grated ginger and sesame oil and honey.
    8. Put the sliced ​​vegetables in a bowl and place the mango, tomatoes and raisins on top. Sprinkle the dressing over it and serve with the chicken legs. Enjoy your meal!
