  • Citrus juicer

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • half an avocado
  • juice of 2 grapefruits
  • about 3 cm fresh ginger
  • 50 grams of kale
  • half a cucumber

Kale smoothie

    1. Cut the banana into 4 pieces, remove peel from the ginger and also cut the cucumber into slightly smaller pieces.
    2. Squeeze the juice from the two grapefruits and do this in the blender. Then add the kale and then the rest of the ingredients.
    3. Turn on the blender and blend in about 1 to 2 minutes until a smooth smoothie. Enjoy!

Fact

This smoothie contains a lot of vitamin C due to the grapefruits. One grapefruit already contains 200% of the recommended amount of vitamin C, so with the juice of two grapefruits you are in the right place. Also in the kale there is still a lot of vitamin C and other minerals, such as iron, calcium and magnesium.
