Recipes Beverages Diet Healthy

Last summer I welcomed a slow juicer into my kitchen and it turned out to be a very nice addition. By now I have tried quite a few different juices and of course I make fanatic notes of the ones I like best. Especially in the winter I notice that my body can really use the extra vegetables I put in the slow juices. Also this recipe, which I have affectionately christened the "Mean Orange Baby," is one big bomb of vitamins.

Recipe

Slowjuice recipe with carrot, ginger and lemon

The taste is so good, so full, pure and smooth. It is also super nice that you can use a lot of vegetables that you normally are less likely to eat as snacks. A bomb of vitamins!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of carrots
  • 3 Granny Smith apples
  • 1 pear
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • piece of ginger the size of your thumb
  • half a lemon
  • possibly 1 teaspoon wheatgrass powder or fresh wheatgrass

Slowjuice recipe with carrot, ginger and lemon

    1. Cut the cores from the pear and apples and the seed list from the bell pepper. "Peel" the ginger and cut off the outside of the lemon.
    2. Then put all the fruit and vegetables in the slowjuicer until you have a big juice. Covered with foil or in a separate bottle you can easily store this slowjuice until the next day.
