Now that summer is on its way and strawberries are available in abundance again, it was high time to get my blender out of the cupboard again for a real "here-ish.bowl-I-make-the-morning-with-me breakfast smoothie"! This creamy breakfast smoothie with oatmeal, avocado, mango and strawberries is a must try. Oh, and I explain why drinking (unlimited) smoothies is not necessarily healthy.

This breakfast smoothie with oatmeal, avocado, mango, and strawberries is a creamy, fresh start to the day. Blend avocado, mango, strawberries, oatmeal, cardamom, yogurt, and water in a blender to make a smooth smooth smoothie. It is a healthy, nutritious and delicious option for a summer breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 very ripe mango, chopped
  • 500 gr strawberries, cleaned
  • 100 gr oatmeal
  • 1 tsp cardamom (can be replaced by cinnamon or vanilla powder)
  • 200 ml whole yogurt (or coconut cream for a vegan version)
  • 400 ml water

How to make a breakfast smoothie with oatmeal?

    1. Cut the avocado and mango into pieces
    2. Clean the strawberries
    3. Put all the ingredients in the blender And blend to an even smoothie. That's it! Enjoy your summer breakfast smoothie!
