The sun has shown itself again for a while and as soon as I feel that warmth on my face I spontaneously get a craving for juices, fruits and smoothies. Luckily I had a ripe mango in the fruit bowl and fresh strawberries in the fridge, so I made a Mango Strawberry Smoothie. Regular readers among you probably know that I prefer to use as few ingredients as possible in my recipes, so that something can be made quickly and without fuss. This recipe is the epitome of a super quick smoothie because it's ready in no time. You can add some lemon juice or honey or agave syrup to taste. I love the pure fruit flavor, so I didn't add anything else.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 mango
  • 10 strawberries
  • 250 ml (spring) water
  • 100 ml oat milk

Mango strawberry smoothie

    1. Put the 1/2 mango in cubes together with the strawberries in half in one blender Or high can.
    2. Then add the water and oat milk (or soy milk, rice milk, almond milk) and blend in a minute until an even smoothie. Don't you have a blender? Then use one hand blender And a high can, just as easy.
    3. Top your smoothie with some fresh strawberry and possibly a sprig of mint. Enjoy!

The proportions of this recipe are a bit by feeling. The smoothie was actually just meant for myself as part of lunch, but when I tasted it the recipe had to be on the blog. Is your smoothie a bit too thick to your taste? Then add some extra water or oat milk. Too thin? Then just some extra strawberries!

The summer vacation can be over for many people, by the way, that of course does not mean that from now on you have to go full cheats and unhealthy food because your bikini is in the cupboard again. I think it is precisely the difference between what people eat in the summer and what in the winter, the reason that many people yo-yo. Also in the winter you feel so much better in your skin without those extra kilos.
