In my mind, a perfect breakfast should satisfy three things: it should be quick to make (1), it should be filling (2) and it should be healthy (3). This breakfast recipe with cottage cheese, banana, flaxseed and protein powder is perfect because it meets all three of my requirements. Yes! A keeper so and you can easily vary with fruit or a little granola.

Quark with banana, strawberry and flaxseed

A delicious healthy breakfast for a great start to your day! Sugar free and packed with vitamins. This delicious breakfast is ready within 5 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 5 min
  • 1 banana
  • a handful of strawberries
  • two tablespoons crushed flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable protein powder

Quark with banana, strawberry and flaxseed

    1. Cut the banana and strawberries into slices. Spoon 3 large spoons of cottage cheese in a container and add 1 tablespoon of protein powder. Mix well together.
    2. Spoon the linseed on top of the quark and garnish the banana and strawberries nicely around it. If you don't have time, mix it together. It may look less nice, but you don't taste it ;-). Enjoy your meal!

Some people do not eat breakfast (for me a mystery that they will make it beyond the front door at all) and others eat so much that I would be full until dinner. For me it is especially important that I can immediately function well, in the sense of sport or work, without being hungry and without feeling that there is a brick on my stomach. Beans in tomato sauce with bacon and scrambled eggs? Brick on the stomach. An apple? Screaming hunger!

This breakfast with cottage cheese, banana, strawberries and inszaad ensures that I get just filled. Perhaps take a little more cottage cheese if you are a larger eater, or add a hand Homemade Cruesli Toe and vary quietly. Especially the linseed, by the way, gives a nice feeling and it is also good for your intestines. Win-win! Line seeds go through it everywhere: smoothies, banana pancakes and therefore always through my breakfast. Tasty! What is your favorite breakfast?
