Sweet apples and raisins in crispy puff pastry: a delicious, wintery combination! With this recipe you will enjoy the most delicious, homemade apple balls. In seven steps you will put a party on the table!

  • Apple peeler
  • Cutting board
  • Cake tray
  • rolling pin
  • Brush

Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 4 slices of puff pastry
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • whipped cream

Apple balls

    1. Peel, cut and remove the core from the apples with the Apple Peeler.
    2. Mix the raisins, cinnamon and sugar.
    3. Defrost the puff pastry and roll it out slightly per slice.
    4. Place the apple in the middle of the puff pastry slice and fill it with the raisin/cinnamon/sugar mixture.
    5. Fold the puff pastry around the apple, bring the points to the middle and make sure that the apple is no longer visible.
    6. Beat the egg and paint the apple ball from above. Sprinkle some sugar over it.
    7. Place the apple balls in the preheated at 220 degrees and fry them in about 20 minutes until golden brown.
