  • Small bowl
  • Mixing bowl
  • Zester

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 150 g each), skin on
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 200 g Greek yogurt (full-fat)
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • Pinch of salt

How to make crispy airfryer salmon fillet with lemon-dill yogurt sauce?

    1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This ensures a better crust.
    2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Brush the salmon fillets on all sides with this mixture.
    3. Preheat the airfryer to 200°C for about 3 minutes.
    4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the airfryer basket. Make sure they don't overlap.
    5. Cook the salmon for 10 to 12 minutes at 200°C. The exact time depends on the thickness of the fillets. The salmon is done when the flesh flakes easily.
    6. Meanwhile make the yogurt sauce: stir together the Greek yogurt, the lemon juice, the lemon zest, the fresh dill and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Taste and adjust the seasoning as desired.
    7. Serve the salmon fillets straight from the airfryer, with the lemon-dill yogurt sauce on the side and some extra dill and lemon slices for garnish.

This recipe shows what you can do with an airfryer when you want to cook quickly and deliciously. No fuss with a frying pan full of splattering oil, just a crispy result in fifteen minutes. Serve the salmon with a fresh salad or some steamed vegetables for a complete meal.

The lemon-dill yogurt sauce takes two minutes to make and pairs perfectly with the smoky flavor of the salmon. Tip: make the sauce a little ahead of time so the flavors can meld. Putting it on the table together and enjoying it — that's what it's all about.
