Nuovo Milano is the name of the cutlery series that the famous architect and designer Ettore Sottsass designed for Alessi in 1987. The powerful design has a timeless appearance. Nuovo Milano is made of 18/10 polished stainless steel. The knives (table and dessert knives) from this series are also available in an affordable monoblock version. A monoblock knife is made from a single piece of knife steel. With the traditional hollow handle knife, handle and blade are connected later. The hollow handle knife has the advantages that the blade is sharper and the handle is more rounded. This makes the knife comfortable to hold and provides a good grip. Nuovo Milano can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
