The prickers are made of pure pewter and are traditionally cast in the Netherlands. The prickers can be used for whelks, snails, cockles. periwinkles, crab and lobster and is thus widely applicable.

The shellfish prickers are supplied per 6 (2 small, 2 medium and 2 large) and each pricker has a different design. Different types of shells and a plaice fish are clearly recognizable. The prickers are not dishwasher safe but are easy to clean by rinsing them with warm water after use.
