This creamy iced coffee from South Korea is incredibly easy to make yourself and very tasty. Dalgona coffee is a drink made by whisking equal parts instant coffee powder, sugar and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to milk. Adding the foam to hot milk and garnishing with chocolate shavings gives you a deliciously creamy and flavorful coffee!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. instant espresso
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp. hot water
  • Hot milk for 2 glasses
  • Chocolate for garnish

Dalgona coffee

    1. Mix the espresso powder with the sugar in a large bowl. Add the hot water and beat until you get a nice foam. This is easiest with a hand mixer.
    2. Heat the milk and pour it into the glass, do not fill the glass too full because the coffee foam is still coming.
    3. Finish it with a nice spoon and some grated chocolate, you need the spoon when you go for a drink because this combination is the tastiest!
