When I started working on this recipe, I decided to make three different kinds of balls right away: with cocoa nibs, coconut rind and cocoa powder. This recipe is super easy to make and not only looks really nice, but also tastes delicious! Enjoy!

Recipe

Brownie balls

By the way, be careful not to make a too large spoon coconut oil through them, or they will get a bit too sticky.

Preparation time

Preparation time 15 min

Total 45 min

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao
  • 2 tbsp cocoa nibs
  • 100 grams pitted medjoul dates
  • 80 grams of mixed nuts (e.g. almonds and cashews)
  • pith of a vanilla pod or 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • Pinch of salt

Brownie balls

    1. Grind the pitted dates in the food processor and then add nuts, coconut oil, cocoa powder, salt and vanilla extract. Let this a little coarse, so don't grind too fine.
    2. Turn balls from the mixture and press well together.
    3. Sprinkle cocoa nibs on a plate and roll the balls thereby. You can also use coconut grater or raw cocoa powder.
    4. Let it get cold in the fridge for half an hour.
