The mojito is a Cuban cocktail with only 5 ingredients: rum, lime juice, (cane) sugar, sparkling water and fresh mint. This rum-based cocktail finds its origin in Cuba. Possibly it originated there on the sugar plantations. The mojito was originally intended as a medicine.

A delicious sweet thirst quencher with a slightly sour, fresh taste! This cocktail is perfect for a hot summer day, deliciously sweet and refreshing.

Ingredients

50 ml Bacardi Carta blanca
1 Lime in wedges
2 tsp (cane) sugar
+/- 15 mint leaves
+/- 75 ml sparkling water
Crushed ice

Authentic Cuban Mojito Cocktail

Fill the glass with the mint leaves, lime wedges and sugar. This stamped (Muddle) you mixed up.
Add the rum and sparkling water and stir it together with the cocktail spoon.
Top the whole with crushed ice.
Garnish the mojito with mint and lime!
