Valira Frying Pan Non-stick coating PFOA-free

All Valira frying pans have a non-stick coating that is 100% PFOA-free. Very nice! Many non-stick coatings contain this substance, but PFOA has been banned since 2015. The reason for this? Non-stick layers consist of PTFE. When a pan is often used at extremely high temperatures - at least 260°c - the quality of PTFE deteriorates. Because it decomposes, the substance PFOA is released. PFOA is very toxic and can cause health problems in the long term. Of course, you don't want this! The Valira Aire Frying pans are suitable for use on any heat source, including induction hobs! Because a magnetic stainless steel disc is incorporated in the bottom of the pans, the pan absorbs the heat from the induction plate. Do you not have induction hobs at home?
