Making your own pizza is fun and enjoyable. You can fill the pizza entirely to your own taste and it's fun to do together, as a family or with friends. How fun is it when you make your own fresh pizza dough beforehand! It's not difficult and you'll soon feel like a pizza chef in your own kitchen.

Fresh pizza dough for homemade pizza at home!

  • Baking bowl
  • rolling pin
  • Tea towel
  • Scales

Ingredients

  • 350 gr. flour
  • 260 ml lukewarm water
  • 10 gr. fresh yeast or 5 gr. dry yeast
  • 2 tsp liquid honey
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt

Fresh pizza dough

    1. Stir the yeast and honey into the lukewarm water and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then add 3 tablespoon of olive oil.
    2. Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl and make a well in the middle. Pour in the yeast mixtures and mix the flour through it. Scoop for scoop.
    3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a flower -sprinkled worktop.
    4. Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl and place the dough ball in it, turn it through the whole bowl so that there is a little olive oil everywhere. Place a kitchen towel on this and let it rise for 1.5 to 2 hours at room temperature.
    5. After rising, divide the ball into two portions and roll it out on a flower -sprinkled worktop. First with the rolling pin and then with your hands pull it a little further apart and bring a round shape in it. 
    6. Throw it up as a real pizza baker if you dare! 
    7. Make sure the edges are a bit thicker and cover it with the tastiest ingredients. 
    8. Bake the pizza at 250 degrees for 10-13 minutes until golden brown.
    9. Tip: use a pizza stone if you have it or use a preheated oven plate.
