A delicious stew is quickly and easily prepared using a braising pan! The Valira Low Braising Pan With Lid Aire Black is of high quality, ensuring years of enjoyment! This braising pan is made of aluminum, making it lightweight. Very convenient! The pan is equipped with a non-stick coating that is completely free of PFOA. This substance is released at high temperatures and is very toxic. You definitely don't want that! This pan comes with a glass lid and two silicone handle protectors. Since the handles get very hot during the braising process, you can safely remove the pan from the heat using these protectors.
The bottom of the braising pan has a magnetic, rust-free steel disc. This makes the braising pan suitable for use on induction cooktops. Gas and electric, ceramic, and halogen cooktops are also not a problem. Furthermore, the braising pan is ovenproof at temperatures up to 260°C. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher after use.
