Refill
Fill the Lampe Berger burner half full with the Lampe Berger refill. You can do this using the funnel provided.
Place the wick in the Lampe Berger burner until it clicks tight. Place the cap on it. Wait 20 minutes so that the wick can absorb the refill.
Turn on
Remove the cap.
Light the burner with a lighter. Stick to the flame. Does the burner look evenly gray with no dark spots? Then blow out the flame! This takes about 2-3 minutes.
Place the decorative cap on the Lampe Berger burner. The burner is now working! Depending on the surface area, 15-30 minutes of use is sufficient.
Turn off
Remove the decorative cap.
Place the sealing cap on the Lampe Berger burner. With this you turn off the burner.
Place the decorative cap back as well.
How do you clean the Lampe Berger burner?
Leave the burner well. Pour the remaining refill back into the vial. Wring the wick out as well as possible. Let the burner drip and dry on kitchen paper.
Fill the burner with a neutral refill. This refill has no odor.
Wait for 20 minutes so that the wick can absorb the liquid.
Follow the above steps 'turn on' and 'turn off'.
Pour the remaining neutral refill back into the vial. Now fill the burner with your new scent!
Do you find the smell of a Lampe Berger refill too strong? You can also use the neutral filling for thinning the refill. With this you make the scent less intense.
NB: A Lampe Berger wick must be replaced after 200 innings!
