From castles to cars: with the various baking pans from Nordic Ware, your cake will be anything but ordinary. The Nordic Ware tulip-shaped wreathless pan is made of cast aluminum and has a non-stick coating.
Thanks to the high quality and cast aluminum, you can enjoy the Nordic Ware baking pans for a lifetime. Provided you treat the pan well before, during and after baking, of course. The Nordic Ware baking pans all have a non-stick coating, but you will still need to grease the pan for the best and tastiest result. There are two ways to do this properly:
Once the pan is well greased, you can fill it with the batter, never fill the pan more than 2/3 full to prevent leakage. Then it's time to put your batter-filled pan in the oven. The temperature and baking time will of course depend on the recipe, so keep an eye on it.
To make sure your cake comes out of the oven properly, it is best to use a thermometer to check the core temperature. Is your cake ready? Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning the pan over and sliding the cake out of the pan. Never use iron or metal knives, forks or spoons to remove the cake from the
