Thanks to the high quality and the cast aluminum, you can enjoy the baking molds from Nordic Ware for a lifetime. Provided you treat the mold well before, during, and after baking, of course. The Nordic Ware baking molds all contain a non-stick coating, but you will still need to grease the mold for the best and tastiest result. There are two ways to do this properly:
Once the mold is well greased, you can fill it with the batter, never fill the mold more than 2/3 full to prevent leaks. Then it's time to put your mold with batter in the oven. The temperature and baking time of the batter will of course depend on the recipe, so keep an eye on it.
To make sure your cake comes out of the oven properly, it is best to use a thermometer to check the core temperature. Is your cake ready? Let it cool in the mold for 10 minutes before turning the mold over and sliding the cake out
