It is suitable for gas and electric stovetops, induction, oven, grill, and barbecue. The fun thing about the smoke oven is that you can also use it as a regular oven, roasting pan, and steamer. The Jay Hill smoke oven can be used in two ways. You can smoke your dish with hot or cold smoke. Remove the drip tray and the smoking rack from the pan, and add smoking wood chips. Make sure they are evenly distributed. Then, the drip tray and smoking rack can be placed back.
