Inga Sempé
Inga Sempé is a Paris-born designer. Inga graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supéroeure de Création Industrielle Paris, or ENSCI-Les Ateliers, in 1993.
Since graduating, Inga has focused on designing furniture, lighting, objects and fabrics. From the year 2000 to 2001 she had and scholarship for Villa Medici, Académie de France in Rome and opened her own studio in Paris.
In the beginning, Inga worked for the Italian brands Cappelini and Edra. Today she works with major companies around the world such as the French companies: Ligne Roset, Moustache e Domestic; Italian companies like Luceplan; Scandinavian collaborations with David Design and Almedahls.
Inga was awarded the Grand Prix de la Création en design de la ville de Paris in 2003. Has had a solo exhibition at the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris.
Today, Inga Sempé still lives and works in Paris.
