Guido Venturini
Guido Venturini was born in 1957 in the northern Italian town of Alfonsine. Venturini is a designer and architect. From 1985 to 1989, he and the architect Stefano Giovannoni formed an iconic duo. Under the name King Kong, they released several designs. This was usually in collaboration with well-known brands. In 1989, for example, they designed the amazing Girotondo collection. He also founded the Bolidist group with other architects in 1985. They created colourful designs with influences from futurism, among others.
Venturini was also one of the designers who collaborated on the Family Follows Fiction project. This project was started by Alessi in 1991. The result was the Alessi All-time tableware set, which Venturini designed in 2012.
