It may sound strange to remove wine from a wine bottle without uncorking the bottle, but it is a unique system that works with noble argon gas and a hollow needle. Argon gas has the function of preventing the wine from turning sour. The gas creates pressure in the bottle. Once pressure is created in the wine bottle, the hollow needle causes the wine to come out of the bottle. Thanks to the argon gas, no oxygen will reach the wine. This will cause oxidation to occur! When you are done pouring your wine, you can withdraw the needle and close the cork. The only downside to this system is that it takes a little longer to fill your glass.
