The Bitz tapas board gray is made of earthenware and has a length of 30 cm, a width of 16 cm, and a height of 1.5 cm. The tapas board is designed by Christian Bitz, a Danish nutrition expert and author of diet and nutrition books. The tapas board has a raw appearance and a kind of concrete look. Each piece from the tableware series is unique; scratches and cut lines will be visible. This is normal and gives the tableware a robust appearance. The material also does not absorb color, odor, and flavor substances. You can use the tapas board for preparing and serving tapas and other small dishes. The tapas board is dishwasher safe and also microwave and oven safe up to 220 ºC.
Christian Bitz can add the title designer to his already extensive CV with a wide range of cutlery, crockery and glass. When developing Bitz, he drew on the health knowledge he gained as a researcher, writer and teacher. In the development process, he used different textures, materials and colours to create a design that makes it easier to get a grip on your portions. The idea is, quite simply, to make it more fun and easier to be healthy in everyday life!
Christian Bitz is a presenter and expert in several Danish TV programmes, has an MSc in human nutrition and is research director at Herlev and Gentofte Hospital, where he is involved in numerous research projects and the development of patient nutrition.
Bitz originates from Denmark and was designed by Christian Bitz. The brand has an extensive range of tableware made from high quality ceramics and available in various earthy colours and beautiful shapes. Different materials contribute structures and colours that create contrasts in your table setting and help to make your meal an experience.
