How does an Ashleigh and Burwood Fragrance Burner work?

1. Make sure the fragrance burner is always on a flat surface. Remove the cap and stone/wick. Fill two-thirds of the lamp with the fragrance of your choice. 
2. The wick is then placed back on the bottle and soaked in the oil for 30 to 40 minutes. Light the wick for 2 minutes. Longer than that is not necessary. Blow out the flame, place the decorative cap on the lamp and let the lamp spread its fragrance. You will see that the lamp is working because the stone will glow. 
3. Let the stone extinguish after 30-40 minutes. You do this by removing the cap, but beware, it is very hot! Replace the hot cap with the other cap, so that the lamp gets no more oxygen and extinguishes.
